The Mountain Lakes Board of Education will have four vacant seats for the upcoming November 2015 Board of Education election.  There are (3) three year terms and one (2) year unexpired term.  Petitions are available at the Mountain Lakes Board of Education Office located at 400 Boulevard.  All petitions are due at the Morris County Clerk's Office no later then July 27th, 4pm.

    The Legal requirements to become a Board member include: the ability to read and write, US citizenship and one year's residency in the school district.  The individual may not have interest in or any contract with, or claim against, the Board.  They may not hold office as mayor or member of the municipal governing body, or be appointed to a paid position in the Mountain Lakes School District, and must be registered and qualified to vote in the district.
