The Mountain Lakes High School Theatre Department is proud to provide onstage and backstage experience to students in grades 9 through 12. Our department produces two fully staged productions, as well as offering curricular courses and an extracurricular club. Students learn not only personal responsibility for memorizing their lines and cues, but also learn valuable lessons in teamwork, appreciation of the arts, and lifelong social skills. Our students make up a diverse cross-section of our student body, ranging from star athletes to valedictorians.
Mountain Lakes is a proud participant in both the Paper Mill Rising Star Awards program and the North Jersey Metro chapter of the Cappies Organization, which has honored the MLHS Pit Orchestra twice as the recipient of the “Best Orchestra” Award for Into the Woods in 2010 and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 2011.
