2015-2016 Board Goals
To complete a full Board training led by Comegno Law Group on School Board Ethics and the Roles and Responsibilities of School Board Members and to participate in NJSBA training related to facility and planning and best practices for evaluating the Superintendent.
To publicly report the progress of the ESIP projects to the community at least twice annually.
To identify an effective consulting form to assist the district in creating a long-term facilities plan. With the guidance of the firm, schedule at least five visits with the community stakeholders of districts that have recently completed referendums to determine how to best meet the increasing program needs our district faces.
- To develop a mission statement for the Board of Education that reflects the Board’s commitment to supporting policies and procedures that offer diverse educational opportunities for all learners.
